In a world focused on self-gratification and personal identity, how are we, as believers, to know how to stand apart? The answer is simple: God’s Word. As defined by the Bible:

• “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
• “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12).

The Christian Dare is written to help you apply God’s Word to your daily life with the ultimate goal of learning how to “not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4). This site will strive to base every article, book, and teaching upon the Word of God, but you are still called to practice discernment and look only to God and His Word for truth. (Acts 17:11; 1 John 4:1). Together, we hope to better know the Lord, demonstrate His love to those around us, and be good and faithful servants.
